Isabelle Madeleine Bergeron, 97, passed peacefully on August 14, 2021. She was the wife of Marcel Bergeron. They had been married 63 years. Born in Central Falls, RI, daughter of Emile Beaudoin and Blanche Lanciaux.

Isabelle was a graduate of St Anne’s Academy, Marlboro, MA. She attended Brown University and Providence College to pursue her dream of becoming a chemist.

She married Marcel and the two raised 7 children. Isabelle had many talents- she was a quilter, knitter, sewer and enjoyed crewel and tatting. She was always busy canning the many vegetables from Marcel’s large, bountiful garden, along with making grape jelly from his grape arbor. Marcel and Isabelle enjoyed their many trips to Canada to visit Marcel’s family, along with many winter vacations in Florida.

In their later years, they moved to Wilfred Manor and enjoyed the apartment style living. They developed new friendships and enjoyed the Association dinners, and Isabelle her "knitwit" group.

Isabelle is survived by four daughters, Monique Shaw (John), Louise McMullen (Joseph), Pauline Clavet (Andrew), Marie Bessette and daughter-in-law Patricia Bergeron, two sons, Emile Bergeron (Laura), Paul Bergeron (Judy). She was the mother of the late Henri Bergeron. She leaves three sisters-in-law, Therese Bergeron, Marie-Paule Bergeron and Therese Hamel all of Canada. She was the sister of the late Roger Beaudoin, Adrian Beaudoin and Robert Beaudoin. She was the sister of the late Yvette Beaudoin and Henriette Samson. Isabelle leaves 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 19th at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish St, Central Falls. Burial will follow Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.

The family would like to express gratitude to the devoted staff at Alpine Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Isabelle’s honor may be made to the Alpine Nursing Home Activity Department, Coventry, RI.
